Whole Beef: ~$5,500 ($800 Deposit)

Half Beef: ~$2,800 ($500 Deposit)

Quarter Beef: ~$1,400 ($350 Deposit)

When purchasing any size beef, the price will differ due to size of the animal. Rail weight is the weight of the animal after harvest, which is approximately 63% of live weight. Rail weight is after the hide, head, feet and organs are removed.

An Example of “Rail Weight/Hanging Pound”

The animal is 1,400lbs live, before harvest. After harvest the animal will then be weighed hanging on the rail. The animal then weighs 63% of their live weight, which in this example is 882lbs. Packaged meat weight is about 60% of the rail weight, depending on your instructions, such as “bone in” or “boneless” for example.

How We Get the Totals

We charge $6.75/lb (on the rail). You would then only be charged for that weight, not live weight. There are butcher fees and packing fees INCLUDED in the price/lb that you see above. Your deposit is credited towards your invoice.

Harvest Fee: $125/Animal

Processing Fee: $1.05/lb

Beef Patties: 30lb minimum is an additional $0.50/lb.
